A new discovery, courtesy of Momma “My-Daughter-Asked-For-Broccoli-But-I-Bought-Turnips-Instead” McGunnigle.
I’m super zoomed in for this photo so they look pretty big but they’re actually the cutest little things you ever did see!
Before today, I never even knew about the existence of little white turnips like this, which we found at the organic farm. There are TONS of foods out there like that, things you have yet to explore.
Try a mystery veggie this week to mix it up and keep food fun!

Tip: Yah, this is a whole lotta oil! But what happens is, you bake the turnips up nice ‘n tender immersed in this tasty oil, serve them on the plate with it, then use the oil for somethin’ else the next day. You will neeeever eat all of it with the turnips, really! And it’s just *delish* cooked up with some baby spinach, yum!
See how small he is? The cutest! 🙂
